Postigo Arch
The Postigo Arch was one of the small gates in Toro’s old city wall.
It is especially distinctive because a chapel once opened above the arch, known in the late Middle Ages as Our Lady of La Antigua.
Above the round arch there is a beautiful relief of the Annunciation.
This place forms part of the cultural heritage that makes Toro one of the most interesting destinations in Zamora for a monumental, wine-focused and gastronomic getaway.
