Our Lady of La Vega
This sanctuary stands next to the Duero river in a beautiful wooded setting.
It is also known as the Hermitage of the Christ of the Battles, a highly venerated image in Toro kept inside the building.
It has a wide nave, a main chapel and a semicircular apse. Inside, remains of mural paintings can still be seen in the apse.
This place forms part of the cultural heritage that makes Toro one of the most interesting destinations in Zamora for a monumental, wine-focused and gastronomic getaway.
