Latorre Theatre

Together with the bullring, Latorre Theatre forms a special ensemble within Spanish popular architecture.

It is an Elizabethan-style theatre dedicated to the actor Carlos Latorre, a native of Toro, to whom Zorrilla attributed much of the success of Don Juan Tenorio.

Its auditorium is ultra-semicircular and has three galleries. The stage decoration is very sober and made entirely of wood.

This place forms part of the cultural heritage that makes Toro one of the most interesting destinations in Zamora for a monumental, wine-focused and gastronomic getaway.
